*Torrefied (also spelled “torrified”) wood neither swells up during humid summer months nor dries out due to dry winter air. Torrified wood will not shrink, warp, expand, or contract due to changing weather or humidity levels. Torrified wood has been heat treated or roasted until it has nearly 0% internal moisture.

I am the proud owner of this CP Thornton HTL2. It is incredible in its tone and playability. You know it’s special when you hear the tone and sustain even without plugging it in…always a great indicator,. The torrified cedar is an outstanding tone wood. The Harmonic Design pickups are magic as well.. The sound blends from all three pickups in a way that my Fender American Strat simply doesn’t allow or come close to. The neck and wider fret wire make the instrument play like butter. The wider fret wire and the type of wire used, allows bends to be made without even thinking about them. I simply cant say enough about the quality of the instrument and I really enjoy Club Bass and Dave as a source of not just great instruments but great customer service and product knowledge. It’s my go to shop for quality instruments….have an Elrick Bass as well!!!
