Description

Modern Vintage MVP4-62 Bass has the sound, look and feel of a 1960s vintage bass with added improvements and updates.

When you play this bass, you’ll immediately notice the super comfy fast neck. You’ll hear the even note response from the Torrefied Maple neck.

Classic vintage sound with punch and clarity is produced by the custom single coil pickups. Original vintage bass attack and decay is maintained by steel bridge with four grooved steel barrel saddles.

Put a set of flatwound strings on this bass and you’ll get the true Motown sound. No foam or string dampers are required.

“if you’re looking for a modern, Fender-inspired instrument, there are a plethora of options out there, but the MVP4 is certainly among the finest of them that I’ve played” – Bass Player Magazine, August 2020

Finally! A replacement for my first Precision Bass. Modern Vintage have exceeded their goal of building a great bass. I now own the bass pictured above, and I am more than pleased with it. Warm mellow tones or bright snap and pop, the versatility is amazing. The neck is a dream. Effortless playability and the Hipshot Ultralight tuners are precise and stable. Great bass!
