nt of warmth to my sound. I'll use channel 2 sometimes but can't see me ever using channel 3. Still much cheaper and quicker than the Noble for what I really wanted it for - that classic tube warmth sound!
The only downside is the firmware was put of date by 3 versions and was very noisy and I had to pay an extra $60 elsewhere for a midi cable recommended by two notes to do the update. After that the pedal is great and has already been seated on my pedalboard!

th the climb. I’ve been able to find “my sound,” a dozen times over. For a cover band, you can honour the original bassist by using their exact same gear. For the experimenter, you can tweak to your heart’s content. I’ve used it to keep my pedal/amp GAS contained within this environment. Great for live applications, and the software is perfect for recording in my DAW. Dave & team have knocked it out of the park again by bringing this to us.

on its quality, practical usefulness, and cost-to-quality ratio. This sweet thing arrived extremely well-protected; dang thing took me 5 minutes to unpack and get rid of all the bubble wrap! You will have seen lots of reviews on the Modern Vintage line, and all the good things I saw and read are bang-on, so I won't add to it.
Unplugged: she sounds lively, throaty and punchy, like a P should sound. The neck feels amazing. The notes are even across the board. She feels like a boutique bass. (Hint: Get the Elrick stainless strings).
Plugged in: Same feel as unplugged, but with all the low-end and grit you'd want. One hidden gem is the tone control. It's actually effective across the entire range of the pot, and you can get a dozen or so useful, different tones from that wee knob.
Highly recommended axe. Great service. Support this local biz and feel confident about what you're getting.
