Elrick Fundamentals 5-String Medium-Light bass strings were developed in collaboration with renowned string designer Les Cooper (DR, Dunlop). Engineered with high-grade string wire to provide accurate stable tuning and intonation, and piano-like clarity without harshness.

More Resonance & Stronger Fundamental

Constructed with a heavier hexagonal core wire, a thicker inner wrap wire, and a thinner outer wrap wire. This provides more resonance, stronger note fundamental, and dynamics throughout the fingerboard range.
Also, the thinner outer string wrap wire reduces string noise and finger grab. So, you don't have annoying string clacking or metal-like sounds.

Balanced Tension

Each string has been engineered for reliable intonation, balanced tension from string to string and dynamic, balanced frequency responsiveness from low to highs.
